Friends,
I work for a large US company with 3000+ employees as a Full Time Employee. I am working in the US since 2004. This is my 3rd H1B stamping.
We went to stamping (H1B, H4) on April 17th at Chennai consulate. The interview was pretty straight forward. I was asked
1) Are you being paid all the times
2) How much is your salary?

I asked her if I am already in PIMS and she said yes. She told us that we would receive our passports within 5 business days. We received it on the 3rd business day.

We came back to USA last week (San Francisco). At the POE, I was asked,
1) Where's your Office located at?
2) What's your designation and role?

That's it. No other questions/documents were asked.

All I would like to say is, if you work for a genuine company, there is nothing to worry about. I wish you all the best.

My interview went fine. I got the H1 stamping done today at hyd counselate. The interview was pretty short. I showed him all the important certificates ( Passport + petition + Hdfc fee slip + DS forms ). Then he asked me the following questions:
Why do I want to go to US?
where I am working?
How long have I been working?
What do I do in my job?

APPROVED!
